Receive's (FKA Anura, Hey Exit) 'New Abrasions' is a project born from the early days of the 2020 quarantine, ripped up and started again twice before arriving at last in its final form. The result is a rich and expansive album of art rock and heavy music that draws from a whole slew of other subgenres, inspiration coming from everything from trip-hop to harsh noise.
